Waterfalls Never End

Waterfalls Never End

Giovanni Agusta's latest project, "Waterfalls Never End," features Zambian singer-songwriters James Sakala and Wezi. This significant milestone blends diverse musical influences and fosters cross-cultural connections. In October 2023, Agusta's visit to Zambia led to an impromptu jam session with Wezi and James, sparking their collaboration. Over months, they worked remotely to create the track, which was mixed and mastered in London and shared with Blank Space Records in South Africa. In May 2024, they performed it live at Victoria Falls, accompanied by a massive holographic projection show. Created for The ROARR charity campaign, the project supports environmental conservation and climate impact mitigation. Now available on all major streaming platforms, "Waterfalls Never End" showcases music's power to bridge cultures, create unforgettable experiences, and positively impact the world.

Don Gio’s Trio

Founded in 2023 by composer and multi-instrumentalist Giovanni Agusta, Don Gio's Trio is a jazz quartet featuring Giovanni on piano, Lee Thomson on trumpet, Andy Waterworth on bass and Darren Berry on drums, percussion and production. After a rapid fire series of rehearsals in late 2023 and early 2024, the band locked themselves in Eastcote Studios and Narcissus studios, and in April 2024 they tracked their debut 8-song album that is set for release in late 2024 with the lead single Aria slated for release in June 2024. Soon after wrapping the recording of the album the band hit the road for their debut performances which were received to wide acclaim in Cape Town, South Africa and at Vic Falls in Zambia. Shows slated for London, Cape Town and Monaco have already been arranged for this year.
